What american food gift should I bring to friends in Argentina?

Every time one of my co-workers from Argentina comes to the US, they bring a box or two of Alfajores (a very traditional Argentinian chocolate cookie). I would like to return the favor on my upcoming trip by bringing a very US-centric food gift. It needs to be something that I can purchase and pack in my luggage and it come out none the worse for wear (e.g. no fresh/bakery items). I would love suggestions from both US folks who have visited AR and or AR folks who have visited the US, on what would be a unique and appreciated gift that would be a least somewhat culturally reflective.
