Why are black women often very rude to my white boyfriend?

I'm black and gay and my boyfriend is white. Sometimes when we've been in public, black women have made snide remarks to him, but only after finding out that we're gay and boyfriends. Before they knew, and thought we were just buddies, they had no problem.
