Blackhead Alert!?

I have blackheads. I cleanse, tone and moisturize my face everyday. I started using St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control and St. Ives Facial Cleanser (Blemish Fighting). I thought St. Ives will lessen my blackheads but what happened was the blackheads on my nose have worsened. I use them regularly. Should I lessen or stop using it? What am I doing wrong? Your advice is greatly appreciated.
