National Guard: What are the chances that my friend and I..?

My friend and I would like to go talk to a recruiter some more and probably sign up for the Guard this coming week. I know that our training/drilling once a month will be in the closest city (from what I've heard, Boise.) We live in Idaho, live in the same city, and go to the same college....would we be attending our drill together? Also, what are the chances that we would get to do basic together, as well?
