Do you agree on Erik Erikson's Psychosocial Theory?

If so, why? (this is just something I'm curious about and I really want to hear what your opinions are) cause some people I know they agree on Freud's Psychoual Theory. This is just a random question, till now I don't even know why Freud made up a psychoual theory. lol
